We are looking forward to seeing you at the Religious Liberty Conference this Thursday! To ensure your day goes smoothly, please review the following logistics regarding parking, security, and our event schedule.
1110 Lady St This is the most popular multi-level deck ($15 daily max). Pro Tip: For the shortest walk, use the exit on the Gervais Street side of the building.
Public Pay Lot at 1040 Gervais St (~$5–$10 daily) or on-street metered parking (Blue: 5–10 hrs | Green: 2 hrs | Silver: 1 hr).
You may enter the State House park from any surrounding street and use the paved trails to reach the building.
The State House opens at 9:00 AM. Please enter via the Sumter Street side (Facing George Washington statue, halfway up State House steps on Gervais St side, go left around corner to public entrance.)
All guests must pass through a security checkpoint (metal detectors and X-ray). Have your ID available. Once through, turn left, then take the stairs on your right up to the lobby.
Please visit the registration table to sign in and collect your nametag.
We are pleased to offer 5 hours of CLE credit. To receive credit, you must sign the specific attorney attendance sheet at the check-in table.
Floor seating accommodates approximately 100 guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Overflow seating (200 capacity) is available in the 3rd-floor gallery.
We ask that you do not save seats by leaving items behind during the lunch break. Please take your belongings with you at the lunch break. Seating will remain first-come, first-served after lunch (excluding reserved participant seats).
Business Casual
No food is allowed in the Chamber; water is the only permitted beverage.
We will be recording the conference and taking photos for social media and news outlets.
We recommend sitting in the 3rd-floor gallery, which is outside the primary filming area.
Please alert a committee member at the registration desk if you do not want your photo shared.
We invite all attendees and participants to join us for a group photo immediately following the Legislator Panel, just before we dismiss for lunch.
A Firehouse Subs box lunch will be provided in the House Cafeteria (located a short walk away in the Blatt Building).
Guests are welcome! Please ensure they register on our website so we have an accurate lunch count.
After the event, please visit scReligiousLiberty.org to complete our survey. Your feedback is vital for planning future conferences. The event recording will also be available on the site shortly after the conference.
