Camille N. Johnson

Relief Society General President

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints President Camille N. Johnson serves as the 18th Relief Society General President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a position she has held since 2022. In this role, she leads one of the world’s largest women’s organizations, providing spiritual guidance and helping direct global humanitarian efforts that support women, children, and families. Prior to her current assignment, she served as the Church’s 14th Primary General President and, together with her husband, served as a mission leader in Arequipa, Peru. President Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah and a law degree from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law. She practiced law for nearly three decades and served as president of the law firm Snow, Christensen & Martineau, where her work focused on complex litigation, risk management, employment matters, and pharmaceutical defense. Born in Pocatello, Idaho, President Johnson has served in numerous leadership positions within the Church throughout her life. She and her husband, Douglas, are the parents of three sons and grandparents of eight.

Annual Religious Liberty Day Enacted

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster has signed legislation designating March 1st as Religious Liberty Day in South Carolina, making it a permanent annual observance. While we had hoped to gather for a formal signing ceremony, the Governor signed the bill together with other recently passed bills. We look forward to celebrating this milestone together at our annual Religious Liberty Conference in January.

If we don’t stand for faith, who will?

Together, we preserve and promote religious liberty for generations to come.

The public is enthusiastically welcomed—no registration fee, no barriers.

Everyone who cherishes faith and freedom:

Pastors, priests, imams, rabbis, and faith leaders from every corner of SC Elected officials and public servants shaping policy Students and young adults inheriting tomorrow’s rights Civic-minded neighbors, families, and friends
